The View From In Here

Welcome.

This is my corner of the internet and the place where I share what I’m creating when I’m not pastoring The Garden in Auckland or serving on the Council of Imladris, an international community of Christians who love and work in the world of video games.

I write because writing helps me pay attention. It is how I think, wonder, wrestle, and make sense of the world. So this is a home for all of it.

You’ll find fiction stories and imagined worlds like Nikolai Chan (bk #1 can be found here) and The Ballads of Hael. You’ll find Bible studies, theology, and reflections born out of years of ministry and a deep love for Scripture. You’ll also find essays on books I’m reading, ideas I’m exploring, culture, creativity, leadership, games, and the occasional rabbit trail that captures my imagination.

In many ways, this is simply the view from in here. A window into the stories, questions, convictions, and curiosities that occupy my mind and heart.
